Don't Come Upstairs (2025)

Premise: So we have this dude that has been glued to a video camera ever since he was a little kid, and thanks to that he’s got footage to try and pierce together what the hell was going on with his Dad, decades ago. There’s some big secret he’s trying to uncover here
Also, it turns out, this is an actual documentary and not a found footage movie even though the premise’s literally the same as half of those.

Under 90 minutes?yeah, it’s about 45 minutes long.
Do they say the title? I am almost sure they do!

First thing I thought of:

Okay, more: Well, the thing is, uhm, I don’t think it’s the documentary’s fault that I was expecting something amazingly weird. I don’t think it’s unfair to fall for that, I mean, scroll down and take a quick look at the cover! But… the whole mystery is… kind of extremely underwhelming once you find out what’s going on. Worse, it’s very obvious pretty early, so in a sense even with the short duration it didn’t really manage to grab me much. Pity, but again, I think it’s partly my fault. Let’s compromise and say it is our fault, okay?

A simple way to improve it: Maybe let’s go for a less “this looks like a spooky movie!” kind of deal the next time around when it comes to promoting the movie, I suppose.
