No Other Choice (2025)

Premise: Our guy has been working at the same paper company for about twenty five years, but then one day he gets fired after he opposes some downsizing. He tries and tries to find another job for over a year with very little luck… until he realizes that there’s an easy solution to his problem: if there are no other candidates, he will get the job. Now, what would a good, permanent way to get rid of those other candidates…?

Under 90 minutes? Nah, it’s a korean movie, it’s over two hours long
Do they say the title? Oh yes they do! And what is more: they also imply it many times which pleases me greatly.

First thing I thought of:

Okay, more: Delightfully devilish. Really really funny black comedy, I love how all characters are dumb as hell and at no point they seem to make any good decisions. Really cool stuff, I had a blast!

A simple way to improve it: There was a fart scene in the movie. This is not a complaint, if anything I wish there was a callback to that scene, later.

Trivia about the IMDb trivia:

After Man-su vomits in front of a car, the scene cuts away and then returns moments later. In the subsequent shots, the ground in front of him is clean, with no visible trace of the vomit.
